Recently the phone company Nokia had made a deal with the Warner Music Group to spread music tracks possessed by this label using Come with Music service and Nokia’s music store, says Reuters. This agreement allows Nokia to get an access to the new variety of musicians like Bjork or Sepultura.
It is expected that Comes with Music, which allows Nokia phone holders download music without any limitations for one year will start by the second half of 2008, notes AFP. Phones that incorporate Comes with Music service are a little bit more expensive than the others in purpose to fulfill prices set by the record companies.
Comes with Music is already supported by the Universal and Sony BMG labels. Right now there are no facts on EMI’s agreement to join the major music sharing project, even though back in March this company had voiced it’s intentions to do it.
