The British singer Annie Lennox had recorded two new tracks for her major hits album “The Annie Lennox Collection”, said Undercover. Following the information given by this site, the first track will be a cover version of a song “Closer Now” written by another British group Keane, and the second one “Shining Light” originally belongs to the Irish band Ash. Following her own words, she heard “Shining Light” six years ago, and since then ‘couldn’t stop listening to it’.
“The Annie Lennox Collection” shall include fourteen tracks (twelve of which belong to her four solo albums – “Dive” 1992, “Medusa” 1995, “Bare” 2003, and “Songs of Mass Destruction” 2007) plus two covers mentioned above. This release is planned on September 2008.
