
British band The Storys is going to make the concert dedicated to the sea rescuers from the Welsh seaside town of Mumbles.
The first concert that will include songs from their new album “Town Beyond the Trees” takes place today (Monday, March 31st) in Mumbles, and shall be broadcasted by the BBC Radio Wales in the Alan Thompson’s evening show. A singer and composer Mal Pope who lives in this town will also participate in the concert. The release of The Story’s new album is planned for April 1st.
All six musicians from The Storys grew up along the Welsh coast. They are showing particular respect to the rescuers and their important job. In Mumbles rescue squads are set up of volunteers, and their fund raising comes from charities.
The Storys who are playing in the country-rock style got their fame after presenting themselves in the newly made Rodger Donaldson’s “The Bank Job”. “Town Beyond the Trees” is going to be their second release.
