1962 Beatle's Concert Record

'???????????

Apple Corps which is representing interests of the legendary ex-Beatles members Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr and heirs of John Lennon and George Harrison brought an action in court against the release of an ‘unreleased’ before concert record that dates back to 1962. Apple Corps’ lawyers account it as a butleg.

This record was made approximately during the band’s first joint concert with Starr in Hamburg.  It contains eight tracks including “Lovestick Blues” (written by Hank Williams and sang by McCartney) and “Ask me why”.

Before it was said that this disk will be released by Fuego Entertainment (Florida, USA) and should incorporate fifteen tracks.  The owner of this record British producer Jeffrey Collins insists that he made it with the permission of Star Club.  Apple Corps disagrees and sees nothing but a butleg.

Fuego Entertainment representatives say that this record was made legally. Company’s president Hugo Cancio believes that the only reason why Apple Corps is acting this way is because they simply don’t have this record.

Nine Inch Nails and "Ghosts"

???????? ??????? ??????? ? ???????????? ????? ??????

Nine Inch Nails has released its 7th album named “Ghosts I-IV”.  Album came out on March 2nd and consists of 36 instrumental tracks.  Compositions for almost two hours album were recorded and set up last fall.

“Ghosts” is absolutely amazing!  Every track is unique and can serve various purposes; listening while walking, going to sleep, daydreaming, making extravagant love and so on.

Leader of the band Trent Reznor (following his own words) says that he is satisfied with the result.  New album spreads through the various pathways: first nine tracks are available for a free download on the band’s website in mp3 format of high quality, and the whole album may be downloaded for five dollars right on the spot.

Just as a reminder: last year Trent Reznor was showing an extreme displeasure over the high prices set up on his albums by the promotion companies.  At the same time he encouraged his fans to “steal” NIN’s music because of the established prices.

This double CD will be in stores on April 8th and can be purchased in advance for 10 dollars.

Tubular Bells Are Back

The Times newspaper reported that Mike Oldfield took back his rights to his brilliant trademark work, Tubular Bells:

“This will be a landmark year for the musician and composer, now 54. In personal terms, it has brought an addition to his family in their new hillside home high above the Balearic island’s capital. And career-wise it will bring not only the release of his frist fully classical album, Music of the Spheres, but the return to his control of his first and most famous recording, 1973’s Tubular Bells. “I can still remember being in the kitchen of the Manor at Shipton-on-Cherwell (then owned by the fledgling entrepreneur Richard Branson), about to sign this two page contract,” he says.  “Some pointed out that it was for 35 years, but I couldn’t get my head around the fact.  I was just 19 and couldn’t conceive of 2008 ever arriving. Now, of course, it’s here.”

Lily Allen Is Thinking Sober

Lily Allen said that she is  changing her ways toward the bizzare lifestyle following her miscarriage.

The 22–year-old singer–who tragically lost her baby in January and split from the father, Chemical Brothers star Ed Simons, shortly after-revealded her recent heartache has changed her opinion on partying.

She said: “When I was pregnant I stopped drinking and I didn’t start again.  Then when the baby was gone, I thought, ‘That doesn’t mean I’m going to go back to how I was.’”

The ‘Smile’ star-who admitted to taking ecstasy when she was just 14–years-old-has decided the best way to avoid temptation is to spend her evenings at home.

She added to Britain’s Glamour magazine: “I’ve been sad and quite lonely recently because if you’re young, living in London and working in this industry, unless you dring and take a lot of drugs, there’s not much to do.

“I’ve been siting on my own watching TV. It’s boring to go out if everyone else is taking cocaine and shouting at me.”

Lily and Ed-who started dating last September-revealed they were expecting their first child together last December, but the relationship unfortunately fell apart under the pressure of their loss.

The pair sparked rumours they had rekindled their romance a few weeks ago, after Lily spent the night at Ed’s London home.
