"L'Amour Et La Paix"

“L’Amour et La Paix” poster drawn by John Lennon and Yoko Ono during their famous “Bed-in for Peace” action, which took place in 1969 at the Canadian Queen Elizabeth hotel is going to appear on the auction sales, said Canwest News Service.  An auction which was of course organized by the Christie’s should occur on July 1. Another sale of Lennon’s stuff, another very common thing which repeats itself over and over again. It looks like a lot of folks out there are making big money on such things. It is expected that at least seventy thousand dollars should be squeezed out of that drawing. It seems that if something like this is getting sold out, auctioneers are just pushing it to the limits. In fact things that were created by a guy like Lennon are priceless. This poster is not going to be the only thing to get to that auction. It should also include some photograph where Lennon and Oko are standing right next to “L’Amour et La Paix”. While commenting an upcoming event one of the Christie’s representatives said that Lennon used to be extremely concerned with politics and could not stay out of it, no matter what was going on. In fact, “L’Amour et La Paix” was a couple’s reaction to political turmoil in the French speaking Quebec.
